Planes!

the background for this page is the Concorde picture, which is available for viewing in full colour below.

My favourite plane manufacturer is Boeing!.

My favourite planes

Boeing 747

The first 747 at Boeing Field.
As you can see, the plane is larger than life.
Of course, it's even bigger when it's coming after you.
Not all planes live at Boeing Field. We saw this TWA 747 at Boston/Logan.

Boeing 727

The first 727, currently being refurbished at Boeing/Everett.
Valsan Corp refitted some 727s with winglets.

Boeing 767

My favourite variant is the 767-300. Here is a 767-200 at Salt Lake City Int'l Airport (and if you frequent SLC you'll be able to tell what concourse the picture is taken from :-).

concorde

When the Concorde was built, it was proclaimed that "the E shall stand for England". Here is Concorde at the 1994 Farnborough Airshow

The SR-71 is still menacing looking, even if it has been officially withdrawn from service (placed in "inactive reserve").

Duxford Air Museum

These pictures were taken in October, 1996

Ryanair Jaguar Plane

Airlines

Particular Airlines I like: Southwest Airlines and Delta Airlines

Plane Watching

I love to plane watch, especially at London/Heathrow (LHR).
